Terms for using HandleIt Docs
Effective July 13, 2026. These terms apply to the HandleIt Docs service operated by HandleIt Docs LLC.
1. Drafting assistance
HandleIt Docs provides document drafting assistance, not legal advice. It is not a law firm, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and does not guarantee a result.
2. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the information you enter, reviewing the complete draft, correcting errors, deciding whether it is appropriate, and choosing whether and how to send or use it. Consult a qualified professional for legal, tax, immigration, court, medical, or other high-stakes matters.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your login information private and provide accurate account information. Do not use the service to impersonate others, submit unlawful or abusive material, create fraudulent evidence, threaten illegal conduct, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another user's documents. Accounts may be suspended for suspected abuse or fraud.
4. AI-generated drafts
Drafts may contain mistakes, omissions, or unsuitable wording. No automated system is error-free. Review every name, date, amount, request, and factual statement before using a document.
5. Payments and credits
Stripe processes card payments. The currently available purchase is one document credit. Using that credit unlocks one specific generated document for full editing, copying, PDF, DOCX, and text exports; it does not unlock other drafts. If subscription plans are offered, each plan will include the credits, price, and billing interval shown before checkout. Access and credits are granted only after payment confirmation. Prices and any applicable taxes are shown before checkout.
6. Subscription cancellation
Canceling a subscription stops automatic renewal. It does not end access immediately. The account and unused subscription credits remain available through the end of the already-paid billing period shown in Account settings and Stripe Customer Portal.
At the end of that paid period, subscription access becomes inactive and unused subscription-issued credits expire. The account and its records are retained rather than automatically deleted. Separately purchased or referral credits are not forfeited by subscription cancellation, but they cannot be used while the account is inactive. A new active subscription may reactivate an inactive account unless the account is suspended for suspected abuse or fraud.
7. Refunds
Refund and cancellation requests are handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy. A subscription charge is not refundable after any document has been generated during that billing period, except where required by law or for a verified billing error. A refund may remove an unused document credit. A document credit is used when it unlocks a specific document. Completed one-time unlocks and suspected abuse may require individual review.
Promotional exports are not purchases, have no cash value, and are governed by the Launch Offer Terms. They are recorded separately from payments and revenue.
8. Availability and changes
The service may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued. Saved drafts should not be treated as permanent archival storage. Export and keep any document you need for your own records.
9. Account deletion
You may delete your account from Account settings. Subscription cancellation alone does not delete the account. Account deletion removes saved documents and private exports associated with the account. Limited payment or operational records may remain where needed for reconciliation, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
