Clear timing for cancellations and refund reviews.
Effective July 13, 2026. HandleIt Docs LLC reviews requests using payment, subscription, document-generation, credit, and export records.
Subscription cancellation
Canceling a subscription stops renewal at the end of the current paid billing period. Your account remains active, and you may continue generating, editing, saving, and exporting documents through the paid-through date shown in Account settings and Stripe Customer Portal.
When the paid period ends, subscription access becomes inactive and unused subscription-issued credits expire. Your account and records are retained. A new active subscription may reactivate the account unless it is suspended for suspected abuse or fraud.
Subscription refunds after generation
A subscription charge is not refundable after any document has been generated during that billing period. This applies even if the generated document was not exported. Exceptions apply only where required by law or for a verified billing error.
Subscription requests before generation
If no document has been generated during the billing period, you may ask support to review the charge. Eligibility for review does not guarantee a refund. Canceling by itself does not create a refund because paid access continues through the end of the billing period.
One-time purchase technical problems
If Stripe confirms a one-time payment but a document credit is not granted, or a verified technical failure prevents an unlocked document from being delivered, contact support with the account email and approximate purchase time. Do not send card numbers.
Unused one-time credits
A request involving an unused document credit may be eligible for a refund after payment and account records are reviewed. If refunded, that unused credit may be removed. A credit is considered used when it unlocks a specific document.
Completed one-time exports
Because a completed export delivers the purchased digital service, refunds after export are reviewed individually and may be declined except where required by law or where the file was materially unusable because of a verified service failure.
Document quality
Generated drafts require user review and are not guaranteed to achieve an outcome. Dissatisfaction with a recipient's response is not, by itself, evidence of a service failure.
How to request review
Use the refund request form, or email billing@handleitdocs.com from the address on the account. Include the subscription or purchase date, document title or workflow name, and a short description of the problem. Requests are reviewed during normal business days.
